Player Bio - Viper

The Viper, or Viper to her close friends, is one of the founding mothers of Squiggly ball.

Origin:
Her run of Squiggly Ball started when she was a young skater boy. One day she decided to do some tricks at a nuclear power plant and after landing a kick flip, accidentally fell into some
Nuclear waste.

She hurried off home to change so took a short cut through a grass field. This is where fate took it's course. She was bitten by a viper snake and laid unconscious marinated in nuclear waste, cooking in the sun.

When she awoke she was Kat no more, but Viper of the arena. She couldn't skate like she used to, so helped invent the underground game
of Squiggly ball. The only thing she fears is post game interviews.

Signature move:

"The vicious strike" this takes place as the ball is in the air and she redirects it towards an opponents chest.

Catch Phrase:

"You better wear a diaper cuz here comes the Viper" in a souther accent.

Nemesis:

The Terror

Player Bio - The Antelope

The Antelope, also known as Great Wildebeest, is one of squiggly balls most graceful players.

She grew up alone in the wild when her parents were shot during a hunting frenzy. She was able to make it out alive due to her quick dodging skills and very silent treks. Her wilderness lifestyle is perfect for the arena, because she can easily sneak up on people and also has quick reflexes to dodge any balls heading her way. Unfortunately from time to time she gets caught like a deer in headlights staring at the ball and gets struck.

Signature moves:
"The Wildeleap" when she hops over an incoming ball gracefully and quietly, usually at the center of the arena.

"Horns of Fury" When she dodges a kill shot and kicks the ball really hard.

Catch Phrase:

"Shiittt Man"

Nemesis:

River Dance

Official Name Change

It's official Young's name is going to be : The Padawan. Once he wins a few more matches it is possible for him to go on to the next level and earn the name "The Jedi".

Player Bio - The Ballerina

The Ballerina is graceful, tranquil, and elegant, 3 qualities not very helpful in the arena (or are they)?

The Ballerina used to tour across the world performing recitals professionally. An injury caused by a ballet move, the Croisé sidelined her for a year. During her recovery process she found out about squiggly ball and attempted to play it. She was a natural from the start and ended up in the death match, but failed to win.

It is now The Ballerina's life long goal to win a match of Squiggly Ball. She's always a contender as her multiple death matches can show, but has failed to make her strikes count in the end.

Signature Move:

The Black Swan- when she twirls around a ball and kicks it directly at her opponents legs.

Catch Phrase:

"Nothing."

Nemesis:

The Phantom

Another eventful night for Squiggly Ball.

River Dance again broke the records by being the 1st to win a 6th match. He did it while competing against Viper, The Antelope, The Terror, and of course the always dangerous Phantom. The Viper also won a game, getting her 4th of the season.

The Antelope had a, in her words, "uneventful" night. She managed to get a few strikes, but failed to be a real threat when it counted.

The Phantom also had an off night as he attempted too often to catch balls. He caught 3 balls in one game, but failed to catch a ball at the end (with the controversial full press of River Dance) to knock him out of the game.

The Terror had a great night and it really felt like he was going to get back on the victory table, but failed in the end against Viper. As you can see on the below video he blames it on a back injury, but I think we can all agree that the back ache wasn't a real factor in the loss.

The Viper ignored the trainer's suggestions to stay out of the game and played anyway. Her mental toughness paid off as she won the 2nd game. In that same round, she was sent to the Penalty (time out) period by 3 opponents catching all 3 of her strikes. She came back in the round with a personal vendetta against everyone and won the match. We also learned that Viper's only fear is a post game interview, but we managed to get one anyway.

River Dance took charge in the 1st game by playing the role of the aggressor. He kept using his move and going for kill shots, but failed to land any. His full court press on the Phantom while the Phantom tried to catch his ball is still controversial, but the refs let it slide this time. He had a strong showing and deserved that 1st round win and 6th win on the season.

Player Bio - The Terror

The Terror is the offspring of lies and deceit. He has the ability to sweat up a storm as if the arena is being played in hell. He is a fireball of non stop energy and always a contender when he makes it to the final round. Although we have seen a slight decrease in his game lately, you can never fully count him out. Perhaps he is lying and waiting to take advantage of you.

Signature Move:

The Terror's signature move is called "The Terrible Truth". This takes place when his eyes are full of rage and he claims to have less strikes than he'll admit. He also has "The invisible Leg" this takes place when he pretends he didn't get hit by the squiggly ball. Two very dangerous moves, that are almost unstoppable.

Catch Phrase:

"That didn't hit me!"

Nemesis:

River Dance
